My friend is going to loan me his XPR for a few days to let me play with it. Your right Ned there is, (in my opinion) no better example of a "tape delay" with the kind of control than the Sterio Echo. If you are curious for measurements, I will provide. The action is so low it can hold a "thin" pick in between the string and the fret without it falling out. When I was done, Led's worked, Lace Strat Single Coil pickup in the neck, EMG 81 in the bridge. I stripped the guitar down to just the painted body and put everything you see on it. The guitar had Gibson "looking" rear end and bridge. Marty, after 30 years, is still at Motor City Guitar. I bought it from Marty at Motor City Guitar for 299. When I bought the guitar, all I knew for sure was it was a neck through body. I put 2 kill switches on it side-by-side so I could do turn the EMG pickup and neck lights on and off and get that Randy Rhoads effect. For instance, you could set the bar to bend notes up a full octave. (Remember this was built 30 years ago) The Wonderbar has the ability to set individual string tension and you can set the bar to bend notes up or down or anywhere in between. I put a Washburn 2001 Wonderbar tremolo on it. It has a Lace Strat Blues single coil pickup in the neck position and an EMG 81 in the bridge position. It is a flying V with a custom "Multicolored Dragon" going the length of the neck, The fret markers light up red both on top of the neck and on the side of the neck. My point is, when I was done messing with it, 4 hours had passed. Then a Shadow Tuner (A hidden tuner in the pickup ring) which took some pick guard modification to get it to fit properly. (not a Van Halen, just a guitar I built) and I added a new chrome locking nut and some other hardware by the tuning pegs. I have I Frankenstein guitar I built probably 30 years ago. The story ( this is a repeat of what I said to Uraniumwilly ) This is for mainly to play my 30 year guitar through. Notice the 4 Rockman Modules, 2 EQ's, Sustainor 100 (200 just purchased, out for refurb) and Sterio Chorus
